IO.net Ecosystem Manager

Are you looking for an Ecosystem Manager with hands on, in the trenches experience in marketing and crypto?

Looking for someone who can develop big picture marketing strategies AND get into the details of execution?

Do you need someone who can optimize your marketing campaigns, build your email list, grow your community, and figure out how to reach consumers and business buyers?

If so, look no further.

For the past 15 years, my sole focus has been digital marketing strategy & execution with a dash of sales thrown in for good measure.

An early adopter by nature, I’m excited to be at the forefront of the next big digital shift: the rise of cryptocurrencies, DAOs, DeFi, and DePIN - collectively known as crypto, Web 3, or blockchain (depending on who you ask).

Web 2.0 was primarily about access to information, data, and products in the form of websites, e-commerce and search.

It gave users the ability not just to read information but also create it.

The marketing tactics we focused on (and the tactics that have been the focus of my career) included:

  • Search optimization (SEO)
  • Paid search ads (SEM) & media buying more broadly
  • Audience building (social)
  • Content creation (email, video, blogging),
  • Sales funnels & other conversion tactics such as webinars
  • Growth flywheels to turn one user into several

Most if not all of those tactics still have a place but things are changing rapidly, especially with the proliferation of A.I tools and new platforms (Farcaster).

The digital context has shifted and your approach needs to change with it in order to keep up.

The new principles and values driving the next wave of growth online include:

  • Community first
  • Decentralization
  • Increased access
  • Desire for contribution
  • Network ownership & participation
  • Greater value distribution
  • Privacy
  • And the AI augmentation of everything

With these changes, new tactics and tools have emerged for reaching online audiences and your messaging likely needs to be shifted.

More and more, users now want a piece of the action (points, tokens, & other digital rewards/nfts) and they want recognition for their contributions (community perks & eng).

The trick is to recognize this shift in context and discover the right mix of strategy, tactics, messaging, and platforms you can use to reach your audience, increase engagement, & retain users for the long run even as things continue to change.

If you need help with any of the above and what you just read resonates, we should talk.
